A monster hunter’s encounter with a demon leaves her injured and stranded in a far away world.
All the humans in this strange new land have magic, and many of the residents aren’t human at all. Smoke-fire demons, minotaurs, and orcs, for a start.
Cleo doesn’t exactly feel welcomed. First a demon tries to eat her, then an orc. If not for a protective minotaur, she’d have been a monster’s dinner.
But then everything goes awry, and Cleo’s rescuer starts looking more like her captor than her protector.
Is the sexy bullman her enemy? Or is he her horned hero?
